Why We Built This Site
Kentucky records do not sit in one public file. The Logan County Detention Center maintains current custody and booking data, while the Circuit Court Clerk keeps District and Circuit case documents. AOC FastCheck and One-Time Request report indexed court activity statewide. Kentucky State Police maintains fingerprint-supported criminal identification history and the state sex offender registry. Kentucky Online Offender Lookup covers state incarceration and community supervision. We built this resource to place those separate official contacts, portals, and request paths in a clear local context.
What You Will Find Here
- Local case guidance: how to find and read a Logan County court case file
- Official report routes: how AOC name-based reports and fingerprint-supported self-review differ
- Custodian contacts: where Logan County and Kentucky offices receive record requests
- Expungement steps: how Kentucky certification connects to a filing with the clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Kentucky court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We do not retrieve criminal records or perform official checks
- We cannot submit a request, certification, or expungement petition for a reader
- Certified court documents and repository records must come from their custodians
- We do not interpret a charge, judgment, warrant, or statute as legal advice
- Agency fees, hours, contacts, and procedures should be confirmed before use
An official copy must come from the Logan County office or Kentucky agency that created and maintains the record.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by independent providers. Those providers control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We neither set the provider's charges nor decide which records its system returns.
